LocationThe property has views to the West over the Minch to Skye, Harris and Lewis and to the East towards Torridon and Slattadale. The view to the North looks over crafting land to Gairloch and Longa Island. The main aspect is South facing and secluded with mature gardens. The area is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty, breathtaking coastal views and unspoiled beaches. Glendale House is within walking distance and provides meals and take-away food. Other excellent restaurants are to be found within a fifteen minute drive include Badachro Inn, The Old Inn and The Creel famous for its excellent seafood. There are many beautiful walks some easy some more challenging. There are several Munros within twenty minutes drive for those with more stamina. Other activities include sailing, fishing, mountain biking and golf. Gairloch provides shops such as Somerfields and Strath Stores for foodstuffs with many other stores besides. The Tourist Information Centre, Surgery and Dentist are located in Gairloch. Other attractions include sandy beaches at Opinan, Red Point and Big Sand. Inverewe Gardens is a short drive away. Getting ThereFrom Inverness take the A9 north to the Tore Roundabout, then take the A835 signed to Dingwall. At the next roundabout take the A835 signed for Ullapool. Continue on the road through the village of Garve and at the next junction after Garve take the A832 as far as Achnasheen. From Achnasheen take the A832 toward Gairloch. Take the single track road signed for Badachro, Port Henderson and Opinan.
